The CHF Academy now offers three options for payment:
- REGISTER TODAY: Pay in full by check, PayPal or major credit card.
- HOLD YOUR SPOT: Hold your spot with 1/3 down and the balance is due two weeks before the class starts. ($20 processing fee applies)
- SIX-MONTH PAYMENT PLAN: Register for two or more classes for just $99 down. Then make six regular monthly payments, until paid in full. ($65 finance charge applies)
This advanced 4-day class will cover high-end drapery panels, advanced valance techniques, arched and bay windows, custom details and hand-sewing. Students will complete an arched drapery panel, bump-interlined panel, interlined panel with attached valance and other samples using high-end fabrication techniques. See day to day outline below:
Day 1:
- Bump interlined, trimmed drapery panel with hand-sewing and hand-pleating techniques.
Day 2:
- Interlined panels with attached valance, student chooses style from several different designs.
- Embellishment techniques including hand pleated ruffles, micro-cording, bow-tie box pleat trim, shaped bandings, and more lead-edge styles for drapery panels.
Day 3:
- Discussion of bay windows including how to measure and fit boards.
- Advanced box pleat styles. Students will be given pre-selected fabrics and trims and will design and fabricate a custom valance based on their materials.
Day 4:
- Arched pleated drapery panels including pattern drafting for arched windows.
